The discussion of international standards for emergency calling systems/devices is finished

July 30, in World Trade Center GLONASS Union held a meeting to publicly discuss reviews  for interstate standards for emergency services calling systems/devices, developed by the GLONASS Union for the support of Customs Union technical regulations "On the safety of the wheeled vehicles" (TR TS 018/2011).

The projects of standards are developed based on established standards of ERA-GLONASS State Standard GOST Р 54618-2011, State Standard GOST Р 54619-2011 and State Standard GOST Р 54620-2011 with amendments No 1 -2014 to said standards, as well as national standards for methods of testing of emergency services calling systems/devices State Standard GOST Р 55530…State Standard GOST Р 55534-2013.

The meeting was attended by the specialists from the GLONASS Union, Svyaz Sertifikat Certification Center, The Central research and development automobile and engine institute NAMI, FSUE NIIR, representatives of leading car and car elements producers, as well as а the specialists of Interstate technical committee for standardization "Radionavigation"  (ITC 522).

During the public discussions of the projects the interested market members pointed out over 435 remarks, offers and questions, with 216  accepted or partially accepted, 71 taken into consideration and the rest – declined. The projects will further be transferred to ITC 522 for expert review to be later transferred for interstate approval.  

Non-commercial partnership GLONASS is cooperating with the market members in terms of working out the procedure for testing, efficient resolution of arising issues and further improvement of legal and technical basis for the certification of ERA-GLONASS systems/devices.
