Beeline 4G network becomes a leader in the Moscow region
OJSC VimpelCom (Beeline) topped the rating of the "Big Three" in the research of 4th generation mobile networks. According the conclusion of DMTel the coverage of LTE-network Beeline in Moscow called the highest quality - the network is available in 98.5% of the capital's area.
Brand perception research (MAGRAM Market Research) showed that Muscovites noticed and appreciated a significant contribution of Beeline to the development of the network and the communication quality of 4G. In Q3 2014 the most often answer to the question «Which operator provides the best 4G Internet?» was «Beeline», which is the twice more than the nearest competitor by the number of votes given for him.
Focusing on the growing needs of customers Beeline continues to increase a 4G network capacity. Over the last four months new base stations appeared on the streets of Arbat, Taganka, Pyatnitskaya, Miasnitskaya and Pokrovsky Boulevard. The number of LTE-equipment increased in the Aeroport, Zamoskvorechie, Dorogomilovo, Hamovniki and many other districts. Development of the network is also carried out along major transport arteries of Moscow, in particular, in the direction of Lenin Avenue, Profsouznaya street, Warsavskoe, Novoryazanskoe, Schelkovskoe highways, Prospect Mira, Dmitrovskoe highway, as well as the Leningrad and Kutuzov avenues. In the suburbs 4G was implemented in such cities and towns as Balashikha, Zheleznodorojniy, Zhukovsky, Odintsovo, Reutov, Krasnogorsk, Vidnoe, Mytishchi, Dolgoprudnyi, Domodedovo, Istra, Klimovsk, Korolev, Mitino, Novokosino, Podolsk, Pushkin, Ramenskoye, Schyolkovo, Scherbinka and South Butovo.
The 3rd generation networks were also upgraded. Number of base stations has increased in all areas with the highest consumption of mobile Internet. Most actively this work was carried out in areas such as Textilschiki, Sokolniki, Bibirevo and Timiryazevskiy. At the beginning of the school year special attention was given to network opportunities in the areas of secondary and higher educational institutions, as well as in densely populated residential areas of Moscow. In the suburbs 3rd generation base stations have been upgraded to Minskoe and Simferopolskoe highways, as well as in the cities of Serpukhov, Korolev, Zheleznodorojniy, Taldom, Dmitrov and others. Optimization and selectively configuration of the network settings were executed in more than 2000 base stations, so 3G network coverage was increased by 20%.

Over the past year the Internet traffic in our network has grown more than 2.5 times, which proves that our services are easy and convenient to use, - said Moscow region VimpelCom CTO Sergey Druzhchenko. - Over the past year the number of 3G base stations in our network increased by almost 2 times, the fourth generation network has grown more than 10 times."
