Russian Ministry of Transport signs contract with GLONASS Union for implementation and operational support of the ERA-GLONASS System in 2015

The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the Russian National Navigation Services Provider GLONASS Union signed the contract for provision of implementation and operational support services for the ERA-GLONASS Accident Emergency Response System.

Within the scope of the contract, GLONASS Union will carry out the integration with emergency services dispatch systems using the common 1-1-2 emergency telephone number in Russian regions, maintain System functions, provide user support, and ensure seamless operation and administration of the system in eight Federal districts in the first half of 2015.
