GLONASS UNION PRESENTED THE PROJECT "AUTODATA" IN FRANKFURT

Evgeny Meilikhov, Deputy Director of the development service, present the project – development of the “Autodata” telematics platform at the Hypemotion conference. The discussion was attended by representatives of companies that develop other EU telematics platforms: Door2Door, Evalueserve, Kyyti, DB Systel, etc.

The goal of the “Autodata” project is to create a unique global data set of "Big Data" in the automotive sector and ensure fair transparent conditions in the integration of automotive platforms with external digital road infrastructure.

Utilizing this resource, local companies will be able to create products and services i.e. applications for road transport users, for operators of intelligent transport systems, for operators of road services, insurance, leasing and logistics companies, and other users, and quality, price and sustainability of offered apps and services will be significantly higher than existing products on the global market. The platform is expected to collect millions of gigabytes of data by 2025.
